The consortium formed by the University of Salerno, Marmara University, e Future Food Institute is pleased to announce that the SAFER programme — Student Entrepreneurship for an Agri-Food Ecosystem Recovery — is officially part of the Inspire Programmes for 2024 by EIT Food.
SAFER aims to raise awareness about the complexity of food systems and promote entrepreneurial initiatives as a solution to the challenges currently facing our natural ecosystems. By fostering an entrepreneurial mindset among all participants, SAFER seeks to enhance the creation of innovative startups that can contribute to the transition towards sustainable agrifood systems.
The programme is designed for students, recent graduates, aspiring entrepreneurs, startup founders, and young researchers from diverse educational backgrounds. By ensuring a multidisciplinary approach, SAFER aims to provide participants with the skills necessary to address and solve the complex challenges of food systems.
The programme aligns with the Agrifood System Technical Capability at the Practice level and focuses on developing fundamental skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, and entrepreneurship to foster innovative solutions and entrepreneurial projects in the agrifood sector.
The SAFER programme equips students, graduates, and aspiring entrepreneurs with essential skills to innovate in the agri-food sector. Through a 3-week online course and a 3-day boot camp, you’ll learn entrepreneurship, business modeling, and sustainable food systems. Gain hands-on experience, mentorship from industry experts, and networking opportunities to develop impactful solutions for a resilient food ecosystem.
