Michela Muserra will be our guest for "Art for Earth: Scuderia Art Night"
Art is a disruptive educational tool, able to generate tangible impacts on the ecosystems in which we live and feed ourselves. It has also become the main focus of an Italian artist who works overseas to stimulate generations of talents and changemakers for concrete actions for the climate: Michela Muserra.
Author in 2015 of “If you are happy and you know it clap your hands”, an illustrated book on mindfulness and the pursuit of happiness, in her works Michela has always taken inspiration from everyday life. Since 2016, she has also been working as a “teaching artist” for the Thrive Collective, a non-profit organization in New York. With this project she creates murals in public schools and for “neighborhood communities” from the Bronx to Brooklyn. Her most recent works are lined up from our bootcamp launched with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in New York last summer, where she was one of the first Climate Shapers and from which she continues to draw new elements and ideas for creating drawings, sketches and murals in a mindful and, above all, climate-smart perspective.
