Future Food at EXCO 2019, the first International Cooperation Expo

This Wednesday marks the first edition of EXCO and the beginning of a new journey towards sustainability.

Created by Fiera di Roma and in collaboration with Diplomacy e Sustainaway, EXCO brings together businesses and buyers working towards furthering scientific research, tech innovation and education while providing products, services and solutions that can support the international cooperation sector.

EXCO2019 aims to facilitate the cooperation between industry-specific active players and aware individuals looking to bring about change. These participants will gain the opportunity to meet financial Institutions, Government representatives, development agencies and international organizations as well as engage in new business relationships focused on sustainable development.

This year, the Future Food Network is also taking part in the International Cooperation Expo. Staring from a foundation of agrifood innovation, this Bologna-based ecosystem has actively generated and accelerated social, cultural, economic and environmental impact since 2014.

Over the course of EXCO 2019, the Future Food Network will launch a number of innovative initiatives. These can be observed from May 15th to May 17th between Halls 7 and 9.

The first of these initiatives will be a panel titled, “Global Responsible Agriculture Investment” taking place in Hall 9 on opening day. Over the course of this discussion, the Future Food Network will also unveil the new FAO-Future Food joint program.   Following this panel, the Future Food Network will present the award ceremony for the third edition of the International Award 2019: Innovative Ideas and Technologies in Agribusiness for Developing Countries.
