The time to move towards a more climate-resilient future is now, as the signs of global warming are evident in every area of the planet. Glaciers melting, rise of global sea levels, higher risks for desertification, and decrease in agricultural productivity are only some of the most visible consequences of prolonged and unsustainable growth. The climate crisis we are currently witnessing is so complex that no one single approach can mitigate it.

It calls for an integrated approach that combines several innovative technologies and conservation measures to be applied.  For this reason, combating climate change not only requires rethinking the whole agrifood supply chain, but also training programs, innovation projects, and plans to build international communities that are aware of and ready to act on climate change.

Food for climate league

In partnership with Google Food, the Future Food Institute helped to launch the Food for Climate League, a US-based organization working to create a new narrative about food and climate, to democratize the sustainability of food systems and to allow us to address the climate crisis, one bite at a time.

Food For Earth G20 Edition

In parallel to the G20 policy sessions in 2021, the Future Food Institute, in partnership with FAO, organized a series of side events focused on the relationship between food and climate.

This comprehensive series following the ministerial meetings for Education, Climate, and Foreign Affairs worked to promote sustainable development worldwide, and to demonstrate the commitment to protect the environment and minimize risks to climate, health, and biodiversity.

Integral Regeneration

Regeneration is either collective, or it simply is not. This is directly linked to the power of integrity, both at the political and individual levels.

Climate Smart Eating

Each food has a different ecological footprint. This means that through our food choices and diets, we can contribute to worsen or mitigate the effects of climate change.
