"Made in Italy" traditions meet the Makers!
In one of the first articles celebrating the collaboration between the Future Food Institute and the Maker Faire Rome , we wrote that ‘makers are the artisans of the future’. They are talented people, with great inventive capabilities, who use their manual skills to come up with responses to the needs and desires of the people that surround them. This idea of artisans of the future is one of the many ways to talk about the ‘Made in Italy’ concept: workshops where people with particular talents are hand-making unique and valuable objects.
