From 25 – 31 March 2022, the City of Pollica and the Future Food Institute, as part of the project “Pollica 2050,” organized at the Princes Capano Castle<\/a>, the Pollica Digital Week, dedicated to education and digital innovation\u00a0 in the cultural, social, and economic regeneration of the territory.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
The event featured 7 days of courses, seminars, and workshops to discover how technology can be an ally to re-inhabit and re-enable small villages and inland areas.<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The initiative, which is part of the context of the ALL Digital Weeks<\/a>, the largest full digital event in Europe, aimed to promote digital transition, an essential tool to accompany the sustainable development of the territories.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
There were seminars and working tables dedicated to local administrators, moments of co-creation on the visual narrative language of the territory – dedicated to young people and the entire community.<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The community was the protagonist in “Hack the Village” – the first community hackathon designed to find solutions to the problems of the territory, organized in collaboration with Invitalia<\/a>!<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
The winning idea was presented by a group of local children: the “hide and seek in the village” and the “treasure park,” activities to introduce their peers to wild herbs and their use in cooking.<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Among the other ideas that emerged in the 24 hours of work:\u00a0<\/div>\n

– a community bakery, which will be a place of congregation to encourage integration between generations and revive local traditions.\u00a0<\/div>\n

– CilenToBe, a hub to discover the territory and stay in contact with the unspoiled nature of the Cilento area of Italy.\u00a0<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Other ideas to come out included innovative approaches to connect local actors and help them participate in development programs such as transformational laboratories of agri-food products, educational paths to rediscover regional traditions, and training programs for operators in the tourism sector.<\/div>\n

On Saturday 26 March, the first edition of the Pollica Photo Marathon took place!\u00a0<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
This initiative included a challenge addressed to professional and amateur photographers to tell the Cilento and Pollica story through images, with new eyes, unexpected views, and diverse perspectives.\u00a0<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
The photographs were evaluated by a high-level technical jury:<\/div>\n
