Un\u2019eredit\u00e0 che accomuna 7 comunit\u00e0 emblematiche del Bacino del Mediterraneo che, nella loro diversit\u00e0, fondano la loro identit\u00e0 culturale intorno alla condivisione del cibo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Una di queste \u00e8 Agros, piccolo villaggio di circa 800 abitanti, nel cuore dell&#8217;isola di Cipro. Vigneti, alberi di mandorle, di noci e di nocciole, contraddistinguono l\u2019agrobiodiversit\u00e0 del villaggio che, come tutta l\u2019isola, \u00e8 intriso dei prodotti iconici della Dieta Mediterranea.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sebbene gli abitanti siano soliti autoprodurre quasi la totalit\u00e0 dei prodotti tipici, anche per Agros, come per le altre comunit\u00e0 mediterranee, esigenze di produzioni su larga scala e standardizzazione dei consumi stanno letteralmente erodendo il ricco, diverso e variegato patrimonio genetico di variet\u00e0 autoctone. Parliamo di colture antiche o dimenticate che soprattutto negli ultimi sessant\u2019anni si stanno perdendo nel processo di selezione e coltivazione. Tra queste, l\u2019isola conta circa 53 antiche variet\u00e0 di uva da tavola, oltre che antiche variet\u00e0 di olivi o ciliegie.
